Day 1: Leh Arrival
Welcome to Leh Airport! Your driver will pick you up from the airport and drop you off at your hotel. You’ll have the rest of the day free to acclimatize. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 2: Leh Sightseeing (Shyam Valley)
After breakfast, you’ll visit the Shyam Valley for a full day of sightseeing. First up are the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and Magnetic Hill. Then you’ll drive to the Sangam area, where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. Afterwards, you’ll explore Leh Market, Shanti Stupa, and then return to your hotel.
Day 3: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La (Approx 5 hrs)
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive to Nubra Valley via the Khardung La pass – the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft. Stop for lunch along the way. Once in Nubra, visit the Diskit Monastery and the Hunder Village, where you can enjoy a camel ride on the sand dunes. Check into your Hotel for the night.
Day 4: Nubra – Pangong Lake via Shyok River (Approx 4 -5 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Pangong Lake via the Shyok River crossing. Stop at Tangse Village for photos. Pangong Lake is the world’s highest saltwater lake, shared by India and China. Spend the day enjoying the lake. Overnight in a camp or cottage.
Day 5: Pangong Lake – Leh via Chang La Pass (Approx 5 hrs)
After breakfast, check out Cottage and drive back to Leh via the Chang La pass, the third highest motorable road. Along the way, visit Thiksey Monastery, Shey Monastery, and 3 Idiots School. End the day with a visit to Sindhu Darshan before returning to your Leh hotel for the night.
Day 6: Depart Leh
After an early breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the Leh airport for your departure flight.
